Tea and nails - okay so that may sound like a strange combination, but two of my favourite things nonetheless! So on Wednesday evening, I popped down to the Loft at Powerscourt Town Centre to check out the latest Barry's ‘Tea with' event with WAH Nails and Beaut.ie.

Given that over 80,000 people are expected to hit the seas on a Cruise Deal by the end of 2010, cruising is becoming an increasingly popular holiday option with Irish holidaymakers.
Cruise holidays are also not as expensive as many of us think. According to e-travel all-inclusive cruises can start from just €320 per person sharing.
So if you were considering a cruise holiday and are keen to find out more then you can head along to the Cruise Show at the Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley On Sunday November 7th from 12-5pm.

I was recently mistaken for a 16-year-old, despite my age actually being 24. And I don't mean I was acting immature - before you ask, but I was asked what class I was in at School. Seriously.
So although I was a little bit peeved at first, and well, slightly mortified, I realised if a similar mistake is made in another 20 years time, I'll probably kiss the person right then and there! So I held back and didn't snap, just smiled sweetly, like a good 16-year-old would. It did get me thinking about my skin though. I'm lucky to have seemingly good genes in my family when it comes to skin, but I know it's not all up to heredity.

It's that time of year again, when my Saturday nights are no longer spent catching up with friends or going out for a cocktail (or two); the X factor has kindly graced it's presence on our screens once again and yup, I'm already hooked.
I can't deny that my wallet is happy to be taking the break, but with the X factor producers milking it for all it's worth and taking over my Sunday nights now too, my social life is taking a serious nosedive over the next ten weeks! With those bickering judges, the singing studs and the dramatics of all the fame-craving contestants, however, it is without a doubt - completely worth it!
So along with the first two weeks of the live shows, came the beginning of something very exciting - the females of the X Factor judging panel, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, and the beginning of this years wardrobe wars. Simon's two right hand ladies went head to head yet again in their bid to out do each other in the style stakes.
