It's something I'm not sure I could try myself because firstly, I have a phobia of feet, and more importantly, fish eyes freak me out. Therefore the idea of a fish pedicure - a treatment combining two of my pet hates disturbs me just a little. Besides, I'm one of those people who suffer from the implication of seriously ticklish feet, which makes even regular pedicures slightly less manageable...
How and ever, my brave friend Laura Donnelly decided she'd come to the rescue and she'd treat her tootsies to something a little different and tell me how she got on instead. (A much better idea!) So to prepare her feet for the upcoming Spring season, Laura ventured into Ealú Spa Therapy, the first salon in Co. Kildare to offer the treatment, and pampered her paws to a little fishicure.

I'm hoping it will only be a matter of time before I manage to dwindle my way onto the IFTA red carpet - how I'll do that I'm still unsure - but in the meantime, I figured there was no harm in checking out what the carpet had in store for us at last weekends awards.
The 8th annual award ceremony was held this year in Dublin's new Convention Centre and along with the awards came some glamorous stars such as SATC's Kim Catrall, as well as some very familiar faces to our little green tellies, and my, do they scrub up well!

It's that love-ly time of year again, when singles tend to overdose on chocolate, lovebirds fight for a last minute candlelit dinner booking and PDA's are almost deemed as acceptable behaviour. I'm not a very mushy person but even when I was a singleton, I still managed to share a heart-shaped cake with my girl-friendlies over a tea party and make the most of Valentines Day. And this year, with it being the first year none of us are lonesome, I'll admit we're looking forward to seeing what surprises are in store for us. Ahem.
But I'm not the only one hoping for a surprise come V-day, as according to a poll taken by Lindt Lindor, 47% of Irish women are expecting chocolates and some blooms and 68% expecting to be whisked off to Paris! Clearly the rosemantic holiday is big this year, with everyone needing a little cheering up, and well, let's say there seems to be some high expectations too!

But even after spending so much on all these products, are we making the most of them and using them right?
Most of us are good about taking off our make up at night - cleansing and moisturising, and for the really good girls, exfoliating and toning as well.
